2. Nature of Coaching Services
Coaching is a service designed to support personal growth, clarity, and positive change. Please note:
- Coaching is not therapy or medical treatment
- Coaching does not substitute for professional mental health services
- If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a mental health professional or emergency services
- Results vary and are not guaranteed
3. Client Responsibility
As a coaching client, you agree to:
- Show up with honesty and openness
- Take responsibility for your choices and outcomes
- Apply what you learn in coaching to your life
- Inform me of any mental health concerns that require professional support
- Respect the coaching process and my professional boundaries
4. Coaching Boundaries
My coaching work has clear boundaries:
- I do not provide legal, financial, or medical advice
- I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions
- I maintain professional relationships and do not provide personal friendship
- I will pause or end coaching if I believe you need professional mental health support
5. Confidentiality
What you share in coaching is confidential, except in these circumstances:
- You are a danger to yourself or others
- There is suspected child abuse or neglect
- As required by law or court order
- You give written permission to share information
6. Session Scheduling and Cancellations
Scheduling and cancellation terms:
- Sessions are scheduled by appointment only
- Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be charged at full session rate
- I will make reasonable efforts to reschedule missed sessions
- If you miss a session without notice, it will be marked as used
7. Payments and Fees
Payment terms:
- Coaching fees are payable as agreed at the start of our work
- Payment is due before or after each session, depending on our agreement
- Returned checks or failed payments will incur a $25 fee
- Coaching packages are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed
- If you cannot afford coaching, please discuss alternative arrangements with me
8. Termination of Coaching
Either party may end coaching at any time by providing written notice:
- For session-based coaching, you may end after the current session
- For programs, you may end with 2 weeks notice (remaining fees may not be refundable)
- I may terminate coaching if you are not committed or if I believe you need professional mental health support
9. Recording and Documentation
Sessions are not recorded without explicit permission. I maintain confidential notes about our work, which are kept secure and destroyed after a reasonable period. You may request a copy of general coaching notes at any time.
10. Liability Disclaimer
While I strive to provide excellent coaching, I cannot guarantee specific results. You are responsible for your own actions and decisions. I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from coaching services.
11. Website Use
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and not to:
- Harass or cause distress to others
- Transmit viruses or malicious code
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Post spam or misleading information
12. Limitation of Liability
